Maxim machinegun was one of the principal weapons of Soviet infantry. It was designed in the beginning of the XX century by American inventor Hiram Maxim. The machinegun was soon adopted for service in many armies, including Russian army. Although the machinegun was heavy, it was also sturdy, reliable and easy to maintain. These traits enabled the machinegun to remain in service of the Red Army from 1918 to 1945 with only slight modifications. Contents: 4 unpainted soldiers 2 machine-guns 2 unit bases with flags 2 unit cards
