The basic design was completed in 1936 by its designer, Dr. Ferdinand Porsche .

The 1967 model
featured vertical headlights with chrome rims, giving it a different look. Numerous other improvements were also made,

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the Beetle underwent further refinement, and
this particular model represents the last of the so-called ‘Vintage Volkswagens,
‘ earning it the reputation of being the ultimate, perfected version, ‘THE BEST OF BEETLE,‘ among many fans.
