In the beginning period of Great Patriotic War (WWII), the regiment H.Q. of The Workers' and Peasants' Red Army (RKKA) consisted of 8 higher officers, one secretary with First Sergeant rank and two private ranked clerks. H.Q.'s duty was to manage units of regiment and coordinate their actions with higher command and neighbor troops. Standard weapon of staff officers in RKKA was mainly the TT pistol.
