Hasegawa - D20 - Kyūshū J7W1 Shinden - painted model

The earthquake was held on August 3rd, 1945, at the end of World War II and the end of the Pacific War.
I flew for the first time at the airfield of Ukita in Kyushu.

this is a very unusually shaped body
Take the wings behind you.
It is a small wing called a horizontal tail wing placed in front.
The engine is in the back of the aircraft.
The propeller is mounted backwards.

This method, called Ente Wing,
Because there is no propeller on the nose
by equipping the machine gun to the center of the fuselage
You can increase the hit rate.
and the line of the fuselage became smooth again
You can get the high speed out.

Shinden is against long-range bombers such as B-29s
It was made for combat,
August 15th: The war is over.
I didn’t do any work at all.

The data
Crew: One pilot.
Total body width (main wing width): 11.11m
Total length (up to the rear end of the propeller spinner) 9.76m
Total height (from ground to vertical tail tip): 3.92m
Engine: Ha43 42s Air-cooled engine
Engine power: 2,030 horsepower
Max speed: 750km/h at an altitude of 8,700m
Armed with the fuselage: four 30mm cannons

(The speed is the most efficient atmospheric pressure in the flight by the earthquake and electric shock.
Measured at the altitude of the temperature.
This altitude varies depending on the aircraft.
Since the electric shock was short from the first flight to the end of the war,
The maximum speed is the planned speed.)
