The Lancer EX Turbo, introduced in 1981 as an additional model to the second-generation Lancer,
underwent a minor facelift in 1983, featuring a redesigned front grille and an
upgraded air-cooled intercooler turbocharger, which quickly made it popular.
The concept of a powerful engine in a compact four-door sedan was carried
over to the subsequent ‘Lancer Evolution.‘
This kit
faithfully reproduces the ‘later model‘ equipped with an intercooler, based on thorough research of the actual car.
The body parts are ‘white.‘
The interior of the headlights and taillights, and the mirror surfaces are chrome-plated parts.
