- 1 x Kyushu J7W1 Shinden 1/32 scale fighter aircraft
Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service
This incredibly popular aircraft, the 18th trial fighter craft developed as a prototype by Kyushu Aircraft upon the Navy's orders for the purpose of intercepting the enemy's long-range bombers, has been transformed into a plastic model.
‘I won't let anyone stop this development!‘
During the end of the war, as the fighting intensified, development of an interceptor craft, a trump card against the enemy's long-range bombers, was rushed through. The canard design was a proposition based on the highest level of technological development at the time. It was the realization of the 'Shinden', with its bizarre structure, including the 30mm guns mounted in a 4-way configuration on the nose.
