United States Navy

US Navy Elco 80’ Motor Torpedo Boat, Early Type is the production type based on their PT-103 design, made famous by President’s Kennedy’s PT-109 incident. The PT Boats were widely used during the early part of WWII, often used to disrupt the “Tokyo Express” causing havoc to the deployment of the “Imperial Japanese”.

The Boat length measures at 80ft (24.2M) with a beam 20ft. 8in. (7M) and a displacement of 56 tons. Her 3 sets of 1,350 horse power Packard 4M-2500 V12 gasoline engines enable top seed of 43 knots. Armaments included 533mm torpedo tubes x 4, twin .50 cal turrets x 2 and a single 20mm Oerikon gun. The PT boats often received “customization” from their crews with additional weapons that they can obtain.
