McLAREN MP4/4 1988 was the championship-winning car of the 1988 Formula One World Championship, and it’s one of the most successful cars in the history of F1. Driven by the two legendary drivers, Ayrton Senna or Alain Prost, it won fifteen of the sixteen races. Beyond the excellent design of the car, the Honda RA168E 1.5L V6 turbocharged engine was indispensable for this proud achievement. It is the strong alliance between McLaren and Honda, together with the extreme control of the two legendary drivers, that makes the McLaren MP4/4 an eternal classic.

This MENG RS-004 1/12 McLaren MP4/4 1988 is a large scale precision and detailed replica of the real racing car. The steering wheel and front wheels are connected by a steering mechanism, and they will rotate in linkage. The RA168E 1.5L V6 turbocharged engine and matching transmission are realistically represented. The front wing assembly and the carbon nosebox are removable. The car’s upper bodywork is injected in one piece. This kit includes stands to show the upper bodywork separately. This kit includes metal wishbones, steering track rods, pullrods and steering column, vinyl tires, stainless-steel radiator and safety belts made of special fabric material. This kit also includes reflective mirror foils, fine decals, carbon-fiber decals and metallic effect decals to make the model look more realistic. You have the options to replicate this model as the car driven by Ayrton Senna or Alain Prost.
