The Lockheed F-104 was developed as a supersonic air fighter.
Small and lightweight aircraft with a large thrust engine
The F-104, which emits a maximum speed of Mach2, was said to be the last manned fighter at the time.
But then the U.S. Air Force changed its policy.
The F-104s, which are small and cannot be equipped with data links, were deployed in small numbers.
However, the West German Air Force, which has its eyes on the high performance of the F-104, adopted as the G type, and the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force adopted as J-type,
The Italian Air Force also introduced the S-Type and the NATO countries also introduced the F-104s.
The Canadian Air Force also adopted it as a CF-104.
There is also a double-seat type for practice on the F-104s.
