The second-generation Sunny Truck, affectionately known as the ‘Sunny Truck,‘ was a long-running bestseller during the Showa era. Produced in early, mid, and late versions, it was a hugely popular vehicle from 1971 to 1994. Its classic style and the enjoyment of custom tuning made it a highly sought-after model.
This kit replicates the second-generation Sunny Truck long-body type mid-production model (GB121). Based on detailed research of the actual vehicle, the kit precisely reproduces the original design, from the exterior form to the interior. The cargo bed, with its reinforcing ribs on all sides, and
the surrounding rope hooks, are precisely divided into parts for both ease of assembly and accuracy. The ride height can be reproduced as either standard or lowered by selecting suspension parts of different lengths . Two types of wheels are included : the original steel wheels and a different type of aluminum wheels . The front grille, front bumper, and door handles are chrome-plated parts.
