The Russian Tor-M2 air defence system is a modification of a short-range air defence missile system developed in the 1980s. After being modernised in 2008, it acquired the capability to engage targets on the move, providing cover for convoys on the march. The Tor-M2 can engage enemy aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and UAVs at a range of up to sixteen kilometres and an altitude of up to ten kilometres.
